Please do NOT read this. That was for my husband, everyone else is ENCOURAGED to read it ...

We were sitting around the table teaching the boys how to play Hearts, when I suddenly had such a good idea that I shrieked. They all looked at me like I had been stung! I laughingly played it off, but tucked away the idea in the depths of my mind. See, my husbands family adores playing all kinds of games. Especially card games. Which leads us to ... PERSONALIZED PARTY PLAYING CARDS! I'll be checking into getting playing cards with the reunion-site-logo!

Then, while I was sitting in the floor being slobbered on by Katherine (the baby), it dawned on me that perhaps I could check into OTHER games. Like HUSBAND-OPOLY! Yes, I'll be customizing a monopoly-based game for the reunion. Completely husband based! For example, each of the four "railroads" will be named after one of the kids: Ron, Lee, Cassie, and Katherine! This is going to be one seriously scarily co-ordinated party!

Is it any wonder that my husband lives in fear!?!

Hi Lucy!

We like playing hearts as a family as well. Fun - and we love games of all kinds as well. We have personalized playing cards, too :-)

That's a really neat idea to personalize a monopoly game for your husband! I love the kids' railroads idea!

Gee, I'm holding a luau on Labor Day, and I'm hoping none of my guests read your site. They'd be amazingly disapointed in me!

Can I come to your party? You ought to send it in to Taste of Home for their Theme Dinners.

Fabulous Ideas! I can't I believe never thought about personalized cards or a personalized board game for my hubby. Simple, and yet so brilliant. Thanks for sharing.
