What Does It All Mean?

My husband drilled a hole in his thumb. A few days later I thought that I'd check his blood-pressure when I was checking mine.

One side was 120/66 and the other arm was 133/71. What does that mean? The difference part?

Why would you check both sides? He only has one heart.

I seem to remember from having the Incidents last year that its an indicator of something bad if the pressure is different in different arms. It never was for me, so I didn't really remember the details. Now I can't find what its indicative of.

Fortunately the new hole in his thumb is healing nicely, his color is mostly back to normal, and his pressures are in the normal range (just not the same). Bah! I hate obscure internet searches. I'm not especially good at them.
